About The Position

As a Quality Specialist, you will support the Hartwell factory in the implementation, coordination, and maintenance of Nestlé Purina Quality Systems. You will support documentation and auditing by updating files and assisting with quality management. The Specialist will also serve as the Net Contents Specialist for the Hartwell site and develop and enhance plant Quality systems, with the goal of continually improving compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality systems, auditing, food safety, quality document control, or related work in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment.

Nice To Haves

• Two-year Biology/Chemistry degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support, audit, and maintain site Quality Systems, including the Quality Monitoring Scheme (QMS), document control, change control, Food Safety Team agenda, and Net Content Control.
• Assist with the yearly management review of Quality (MRQ).
• Support and coordinate Job Aid development, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop, support, and maintain internal and external Quality auditing systems for the Hartwell site.
• Prepare for and manage factory internal audits, including planning and scheduling local internal audits.
• Keep Quality documents up to date and oversee the document change control program.
• Manage data and reporting for the Quality Data Collection System (QIR).
• Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) activities, cost-saving initiatives, and projects.
