About The Position

The Factory Manager secures the factory’s overall performance, output, and development, with responsibility for the safety of people, processes, and manufactured or delivered products across quality, delivery, and cost. The role decides and implements the factory’s Vital Few, implements policies, standards, values, and culture, and secures results from continuous improvement activities. It also implements and maintains supply chain processes, initiates supplier development activities with central support functions, and coordinates new product development. The role can also include site responsibility: leading and developing the site; coordinating shared site functions such as HR, Finance, and Real Estate; taking responsibility for common site activities; serving as the local Alfa Laval representative and contact person; and managing union contacts. This job profile is selected when factory deliveries exceed 117 MEUR and the number of employees exceeds 200; both criteria must be fulfilled.
