Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in electrical testing
Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

Perform commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on locomotives, coach cars, and light rail vehicles.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, PTUs, and testing tools to identify, document, and resolve system failures.
Read, interpret, and apply electrical and mechanical schematics, technical drawings, and electronic documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical findings, recommendations, and work status both verbally and in writing.
