About The Position

As the C-Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all elements of the plant remain operational during your shift. You will be exposed to all components of facility operations including but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, water systems, fire alarm and suppression, general facility maintenance and electrical. You will be trained on all aspects related to this role and be expected to provide performance maintenance, adjustments, repairs, testing and replacement of various types of mechanical equipment as required at the site. This will include all preventative and predictive maintenance as assigned by management. You will also work closely with contractors that are utilized to perform facility maintenance activities at the site. This role will also have on-call responsibilities which encompass a rotation with other members of the facility team. The successful candidate should be familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook). You will also be expected to utilize our local Building Management System (BMS) to remotely monitor and adjust setpoints and operational settings as required. You must be comfortable working independently and have a good sense of how to perform your job safely.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Good sense of how to perform your job safely.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification from a trade school.
  • 5+ years of maintenance/trade experience.

Responsibilities
