About The Position

This role involves keeping supplies stocked, placing replenishment orders, and assisting with large projects. The technician will operate compactors and bailers for waste management, manage a small team, oversee contractors and repairs (minor to major), and possess knowledge of construction and PM trades. Effective communication, self-motivation, and the ability to use powered tools safely are essential. The role requires handling moderately complex tasks, with some tasks being complex, and exercising judgment in problem-solving and making recommendations. Computer use is part of the job, and a valid driver's license is required. The individual will receive little instruction on daily work and general instructions on new assignments, demonstrating the ability to work effectively within a team. They may train or occasionally lead a small group of lower-level associates, exuding leadership and taking initiative. Typically, this role requires over 2 years of experience and advanced knowledge.

Requirements

Knowledge of construction
Knowledge of PM trades
Effective communication skills
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to use powered tools safely.
Ability to handle tasks/assignments which are moderately complex in nature. Some tasks may be complex in nature.
Judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
Use a computer as part of the job.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to effectively work within a team environment.
Over 2 years’ experience and advanced knowledge.
Competent on equipment, tools, following directions.
Has good attitude, shows up on time, follows instructions.
Willing and able wherever needed.

Responsibilities

Keep all supplies stocked and place replenishment orders.
Assist with large projects.
Operate Compactor and Bailor for waste management.
Manage a small team of people.
Oversee contractors.
Oversee repairs from minor to major.
Install and remove DC racks.
Install and remove HAMM whips.
Install or change Starline boxes per request.
Perform constant projects around HYVE facilities, including installing racks for forklift chargers, removing equipment for other projects, running cabling for card access, building racks to support lockers, assembling benches, assembling pigtails, and removing old infrastructure.
Train or occasionally lead a small group of lower level non-exempt associates.
