About The Position
Our East Lawn Funeral Homes are looking for dedicated Facility Staff Assistants. This part-time, as-needed position offers flexible work hours, up to 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and capable of handling delicate situations with empathy and patience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive large vehicles such as a hearse or van
- Compassionate, organized, and capable of handling delicate situations with empathy and patience
Responsibilities
- Assist Funeral Directors and Arrangers
- Hand out memorial folders and seat guests
- Arrange flower displays and run errands
- Assist clergy
- Operate media equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities and vehicles
