Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must hold a valid Master Plumber license (Kansas or transferable)
  • Minimum 3+ years commercial plumbing experience, including service or remodel work required.
  • Current Master Plumber license in Kansas or equivalent transferable credentials.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing commercial plumbing systems.
  • Proficient with plumbing tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills for mentoring and client interaction.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in all work environments.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems (water lines, drainage, fixtures, pumps, valves) using diagnostic tools and inspection equipment; ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.
  • Install plumbing systems during upgrades or remodels; accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Mentor apprentices and assistant techs; communicate effectively with clients; maintain accurate service records.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety protocols; proactively correct hazards; maintain current Master Plumber license.
  • Collaborate with technicians and assist with non-plumbing tasks as needed; lead and support team members on projects.
