Facility Sanitation Tech
About The Position
The Facility Sanitation Tech will be responsible for safely and efficiently taking care of the Flower Mound campus grounds. This role involves cleaning and organizing various outdoor and indoor areas, picking up debris, and maintaining specific zones like dock areas, break areas, and maintenance storage. The ideal candidate will be able to work in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and stand and move for extended periods. A strong emphasis is placed on a collaborative, team-driven attitude, precision, and compliance with all quality and safety requirements. A good attendance record is critical for this position.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend basic work instructions, standard procedures, etc.
- Ability to work in weather elements and conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
- Capability to stand and move frequently.
- Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude.
- A good attendance record and a team mindset is critical.
- Be precision-driven, and able to comply with all quality and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Clean and organize the outside dock area.
- Pick up debris all around the external area of the building.
- Pick up debris in the internal areas of the facility.
- Clean and pick up debris outside the break areas.
- Clean and pick up debris around the open-top containers behind the building.
- Sweep and maintain the back aisle in the maintenance parts area.
- Sweep and de-clutter the dock areas when they are open.
- Check and maintain smoking areas.
- Assist in manufacturing needs when applicable.
- Maintain housekeeping in maintenance storage areas.
