Operate adjust and maintain high pressure and associated heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance service or repairs.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred
• Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: Any state boiler operator license or plumbing/ Pipefitter license.
• Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills

Responsibilities

• Provides preventative or corrective maintenance.
• Accurately identifies equipment needed.
• Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems
• Performs operational checks on operating chillers
• Respond to all fire alarm activations/smell of smoke
• Understand all AHU operational parameters
• Monitors systems for proper operation
• Painting/ Patching
• Maintains and operates the generator.
