About The Position
AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the cloud runs smoothly. This involves supporting all AWS data centers and the associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The team tackles complex challenges with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and seeks talented individuals to contribute. You will join a diverse team of engineers, specialists, and experts, collaborating across AWS to maintain high standards of safety and security while providing scalable and cost-effective capacity for customers. Requirements
- 3+ years of technical support experience, or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- Experience documenting technical customer issues
- 1+ years of customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience
Nice To Haves
- Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration
- Experience in data center engineering
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Responsibilities
- Remote monitoring of Data Center power and cooling infrastructure globally.
- Supporting onsite operations teams by providing remote monitoring of Data Center infrastructure.
- Initiating immediate event response for critical facility infrastructure.
- Documenting technical customer issues.
