This position serves as a technical authority for facility operations, providing engineering support for day-to-day challenges and leading capital maintenance projects from concept to completion. The role plays a critical part in incident response, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, working cross-functionally to ensure safe, reliable pipeline facility operations. This position is responsible for technical engineering support of company facilities. This includes responding to and leading the response to operational issues 24-7 such as releases, overpressure events, regulatory audits, equipment failure, abnormal operation conditions, and incident investigations. Use engineering analysis to troubleshoot recurring operational issues and implement solutions. Work with various stakeholders to identify leak risk reduction projects and follow through to implementation. Review various company projects to determine impact to facility and review and approve MOCRs. Maintain and update procedures and engineering standards with changing regulations and emerging technology. Lead program development projects that improve current processes. Manage PLC (project life cycle) for capital maintenance projects which include scoping, submitting for funding, forecasting and execution of projects within pipeline facilities. Lead teams of contractors and inspectors to execute projects to completion. Manage projects within defined budgets and complete monthly financial forecast. Communicate with stakeholders during duration of projects and operational issues.
