About The Position

The Facility Manager plans and oversees daily company operations to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. The role optimizes processes to support efficient operations and a collaborative team environment, and serves as a key communication and coordination link between customers and internal parties.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain management, and/or operations in a 3PL environment.
5 to 7 years of management and leadership experience, with a successful track record in safety, operational efficiency, and employee development.
Analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions that positively impact the business.
Leadership ability to inspire teams, foster collaboration, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Experience with inventory management and cycle counts.
Knowledge of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, RF scanning, and Warehouse Management Systems.
Familiarity with logistics software and technology for tracking, reporting, and process improvement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
Ability to stay calm and focused while managing multiple activities and shifting priorities.
Flexible team player.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in management, logistics, or another relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily operations.
Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, within customer specifications, and cost-effectively.
Oversee the employee performance program and hold employees accountable for their development.
Adjust operational procedures to ensure daily KPIs are met or exceeded.
Report on company-defined KPIs.
Serve as an escalation point for unresolved customer issues.
Understand and meet customer needs while aligning logistics operations with the mission of delivering exceptional service.
Identify and implement operational improvements and contribute to ongoing efforts to improve experiences with MainOcean, LLC.
Maintain records according to company and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other leaders to ensure a unified approach.
Implement creative solutions to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
