About The Position

Lucky Strike Entertainment is seeking a Senior Bowling Mechanic & Facility Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for keeping the center operating efficiently by managing a team of mechanics who oversee the operation of pinsetters, pinspotters, automatic scoring machines, lanes, and other facility equipment. The manager will be involved in all center maintenance and repairs, providing leadership to their team and support to the General Manager. The ideal candidate is an experienced, technically proficient manager and a strong team player who can troubleshoot effectively, supervise mechanics, and communicate departmental needs. They should have an affinity for spotting and resolving technical issues and a strong desire to grow and develop their technical staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Bowling Mechanic Experience

  • An ability to walk, bend, and stand for periods of time and lift objects as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Manage the bowling center's day-to-day operations from a technical perspective to ensure efficiency.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule B- and C-Mechanics, supervising them daily in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Provide training on machine area operations, safety procedures, standards of operation for bowling equipment, building maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure operational compliance with laws and policies, including OSHA safety practices.
  • Monitor and maintain machine stop records and summaries to determine repair needs.
  • Schedule routine maintenance for HVAC, roof, plumbing, electrical, life/safety, and other building systems.
  • Assist in planning and budgeting for center repairs and upgrades.
  • Obtain bids for routine and emergency repairs/maintenance.
  • Suggest improvements to center equipment to reduce environmental impact and cost.
