About The Position

This role is a hands-on leadership position focused on maintaining the operational integrity of the facility. The Facility Manager will lead a team of mechanics and pit crew, ensuring work progresses efficiently and on schedule. A key aspect of the role involves interacting professionally with guests and team members, adhering to the company's Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.). The position requires close collaboration with the General Manager on priorities, projects, and budgets. The Facility Manager will be responsible for the upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment, including troubleshooting issues, managing vendor relationships for maintenance and landscaping, and maintaining organized inventory of tools, parts, and equipment. Specific duties include performing routine HVAC maintenance, acting as the point person for utilities and communication issues, conducting safety checks, and ensuring machine areas are clean and safe. The role also involves maintaining and repairing various equipment such as pinsetters, scoring systems, vending machines, and kitchen equipment, as well as addressing issues from lane call books and creating temporary fixes to minimize downtime. Additionally, the Facility Manager will support general facility needs, including light housekeeping. In locations with amusements, this includes performing daily walkthroughs of the game zone, testing and troubleshooting arcade games and related equipment, and communicating/resolving equipment issues with leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience — someone comfortable leading a team
  • 2+ years of mechanic experience or equivalent training
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining building infrastructure
  • Experience in construction, maintenance, or facility operations
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools and troubleshooting equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the floor — supporting and guiding the mechanics and pit crew while keeping work moving and on track
  • Interact professionally with guests and team members using our Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.)
  • Partner weekly with the General Manager to align on priorities, projects, and budgets
  • Own the upkeep of the building, grounds, and equipment — troubleshooting issues as they come up
  • Manage vendor relationships for maintenance, equipment, and landscaping
  • Maintain organized inventory and accurate records for tools, parts, and equipment
  • Perform routine HVAC maintenance (filters, coils, general upkeep)
  • Act as the point person for utilities and communication-related issues
  • Conduct safety checks, visual inspections, and stay ahead of potential hazards
  • Complete regular approach patrols and document findings
  • Keep machine areas clean, organized, and operating safely
  • Maintain and repair pinsetters, scoring systems, foul units, vending machines, and kitchen/lounge equipment
  • Review lane call books daily and address issues quickly
  • Create temporary fixes when needed to minimize downtime
  • Support general facility needs, including light housekeeping when needed
  • Perform daily walkthroughs of the game zone to ensure everything is working properly
  • Test and troubleshoot arcade games, laser tag, escape rooms, and related equipment
  • Partner with leadership to communicate and resolve equipment issues
