Facility Maintenance Worker II
About The Position
The Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Building Services is responsible for preventive maintenance, general repairs, small construction projects, janitorial and landscaping services. Also, many other essential day-to-day building functions. Our Facility Maintenance Worker II's are key members of the building support staff. They interact daily with tenants, visitors and other staff while performing and coordinating service and maintenance activities. The primary mission of Building Services is to ensure a safe, clean, professional environment for the conduct of the Commonwealth's business. This position is an evening position working mainly on the Capitol campus with occasional work in other State office buildings in Frankfort, KY 40601.
Requirements
- One year of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services, or mechanical maintenance experience.
- Must be 18 years of age.
