About The Position

The Facility Maintenance Technician assists with day-to-day building and facility maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, building lighting systems, groundskeeping, and overall facility appearance. The role performs general repairs and maintenance across the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural work on buildings and grounds, and maintains the cleanliness and appearance of interior and exterior areas. The technician also identifies needed supplies and reports them to the Manager or Maintenance Coordinator, and performs other duties as directed by management.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and get along well with others.
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Must provide personal hand tools.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents and instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be available for overtime and weekend work when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred 2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care and proper use of company assets, including vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Perform general repairs and maintenance throughout the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural work on buildings and grounds.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility exterior, including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, blowing walkways, and picking up litter.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of interior facility areas, including emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Identify needed supplies and report them to the Manager or Maintenance Coordinator.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by management.
