This position is a member of the Department of Exercise and Sport Science (EXSS) Facility/Utility Crew, supporting maintenance, minor repairs, grounds work, field maintenance, carpentry projects, minor renovations, and equipment setups for LFIT classes and departmental events. The role primarily focuses on the Outdoor Education Center (OEC) complex, a 39+ acre property with various facilities including a main building, offices, storage, a carpentry shop, a workshop, a stone bathhouse, a covered pavilion, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, a disc golf course, and a retention pond. This position is responsible for maintaining 15-20 acres of the OEC property, including its facilities and grounds, in conjunction with another technician. The position serves as a Lead Worker for one Facilities Maintenance/Building Trades Technician at the OEC and reports to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
