About The Position

This position actively supports the upkeep and maintenance of the facility grounds, equipment and buildings.

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).
Must be at least 18 years of age to work at this facility.
Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord.
Ability to communicate and document effectively in English.
Function Specific RCRA training upon hire.
Ability to work effectively with other employees as part of a team.
Ability to multi-task in support of end-result/goal.

Performs grounds maintenance to include operation of grass and snow handling equipment.
Drives company vehicles as needed.
Maintains buildings, performs minor and routine painting, filter changes, light bulb changes, replaces doors and hardware and performs other related maintenance activities.
Completes routine maintenance of tractors, skid-steers and ground maintenance equipment.
Operates and performs general maintenance of all air compressors.
Changes of all air makeup filters as necessary based on production buildings’ need.
Assists in cleaning administration building, including vacuuming, scrubbing floors, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
Picks up parts or supplies from vendors in local area.
Shovels and plows snow around all buildings and in parking areas.
Maintains all trash and paper recycling programs.
Assists in maintaining records for several different monthly, semiannual, and annual maintenance checks.
Helps perform static grounding checks as scheduled for all production buildings.
Performs minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs.
Responsible for maintenance activities at the facility that could generate hazardous waste and other environmental management responsibilities.
Performs other work duties as assigned.
