Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is now seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Supervisor I to join our team! This position will play a major role in coordinating and performing work with the general maintenance, janitorial needs and upkeep of buildings. This individual must be an energetic, positive person with the ability to communicate in person, via email or by phone. Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Three years of building maintenance, grounds maintenance, general trades, skilled trades, moving services or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Formal training in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Experience in one of the above or related fields will substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all facilities maintenance operations to include work orders, training programs, and departmental safety initiatives under the direction of the Facility Maintenance Supervisor II.
  • Supervises and oversees a shift or crew of maintenance employees engaged in buildings and grounds maintenance.
  • Assigns, oversees and inspects work for completeness and determines material, equipment and supplies to be used
  • Inspects buildings to detect areas in need of repair
  • Performs work of maintenance employees as required
