This role is crucial for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment, contributing to our operational efficiency and commitment to customer satisfaction. Requirements

Education in a related field with at least four years of facility maintenance experience and two years in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Strong people leadership skills.
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in cross-functional team settings.
Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or managers.
Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Thorough knowledge of general plumbing and electrical.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must complete record check and drug screening prior to employment.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, supervise, and carry out general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and HVAC systems.
Work closely with and manage external third-party vendors and their contracts for facilities maintenance (e.g., lawn care, snow removal, custodial services).
Build, lead, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians.
Ensure building equipment is maintained properly and functioning correctly.
Oversee the implementation and adherence of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and facility disruptions.
Plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals.
Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, doors, and other building fixtures.
Clean and assist with the upkeep of the facilities.
Ensure building systems (HVAC, Air Compressors, plumbing, electrical, etc.) are regularly inspected and maintained.
Order necessary supplies and materials for repairs and maintenance.
Document and log all repairs and materials used.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager - Growth or other delegates.
