About The Position

SkyWest is hiring a Facility Maintenance Repair Generalist to perform facility maintenance and help ensure workspaces, aircraft-maintenance tooling, and ground equipment remain clean, functional, safe, and reliable. The role includes completing scheduled safety inspections of equipment and facilities in accordance with company policy and state and local regulations. The position is not Department of Transportation safety-sensitive.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have strong communication skills.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds or more, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Be able to work effectively under stress and within tight time constraints.
• Be self-motivated and a team player.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
• Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license and the ability to rent and operate vehicles on or off airport property.
• Be able to obtain a SIDA badge, as required by the Airport Authority.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance, including upkeep and cleanliness of all workspaces.
• Maintain the functionality of equipment related to aircraft maintenance tooling and ground equipment.
• Maintain a safe and suitable working environment.
• Keep facility vehicles and ground equipment safe and in reliable operating condition.
• Complete scheduled monthly or weekly safety inspections of equipment and facilities in accordance with company policy and state and local regulations.
