Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or Minimum of 5 years’ experience required in building and equipment maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to allow for the use of company vehicle as needed.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Home & Business, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SharePoint, and similar systems.
  • Frequently lifts and moves materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally lifts and moves items that weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to research, comprehend and retain job related information and instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet requirements.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
  • Communicate at all levels of management and coworkers in the performance of job duties.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information and understand instructions and technical details.
  • Must be able to maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.

Nice To Haves

  • Scissor Lift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general maintenance for the facility including buildings, grounds, necessary repairs, and installation of office equipment and appliances.
  • Coordinates necessary repairs and maintenance with external contractors.
  • Assists with maintaining maintenance logs and notifies appropriate departments of issues.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
  • Obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and external contractors.
  • Assist in managing facility service requests and provide and provide timely updates.
  • Routes invoices for payment.
  • Performs facility safety inspections such as emergency lighting, eyewash stations, spill kits, fire extinguishers, facility vehicles and forklifts.
  • Initiates purchase order for parts and services on ERP system and routes invoices for payment.
  • Assists with recording and storing maintenance information in written form as well as electronic form.
  • Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to achieve solutions.
  • Maintain and supply conference rooms and break areas as needed.
  • Participate in activity surrounding Disaster Recovery Plan and Disaster Recovery.
  • Ability to be available outside of usual work hours when needed to meet existing project deadlines.
  • Ability to follow all corporate, local, state, and federal regulations of requirements.
  • Perform all other duties requested, directed, or assigned.
