About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Facility Maintenance Custodian in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under general supervision, this role involves cleaning and maintaining designated areas in office buildings and related work and storage areas, contributing to the attractiveness, safety, and functionality of the facility. The incumbent will work under the direction of a Facility Maintenance Manager to maintain building interior office/workspaces in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

Two years of custodial experience including skills in the proper selection and application of cleaning solutions, and other materials, and in the operation of custodial equipment.
One or more years of experience performing light maintenance and repairs as listed in the responsibilities.
Proficient in the use of hand tools and light power tools.
Experience in establishing and maintaining inventory stock levels of job-related supplies.
Possess a valid state-issued driver's license.
Able to qualify for and maintain a US Government security clearance.
US citizenship is required to obtain a US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Maintain building interior office/workspaces in a clean and orderly condition.
Remove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean, wash, wax, and buff offices, hallways, storage/warehouse areas, restrooms, windows, kitchen areas, and associated spaces.
Perform maintenance and minor repairs on facility infrastructure and equipment including plumbing, carpentry, touch-up painting, changing air filters, drywall/plaster, toilets, locks, water purifiers, and lighting fixtures.
Maintain an adequate inventory of hygiene/cleaning supplies to meet routine requirements.
May pick up/deliver parts, supplies, and equipment.
Prepare, reconfigure, and set up tables, desks, chairs, coffee bar/food/drinks as needed to support meetings and conferences.
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.
