About The Position
Custodian / Facility Attendant – Pediatric ABA Therapy Clinic Transformative ABA is a pediatric Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy practice serving children and families across South Texas. Our Corpus Christi clinic is a busy, 5,000 sq. ft. center where children work every day on communication, social, and life skills. A clean, safe, well-stocked environment is essential to the work we do, and we’re looking for a dependable team member to own it. We’re hiring a Custodian / Facility Attendant to keep our clinic clean, sanitized, organized, and fully stocked throughout the day. Our clients are young children, many with significant behavioral needs, so spills, messes, and items left behind happen often. You’ll respond quickly, keep therapy rooms safe and ready to use, and take pride in a space that kids and families rely on.
Requirements
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare, school, or childcare settings a plus)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and pride in a clean, organized workspace
- Comfortable working around young children with behavioral needs; patient and calm demeanor
- Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures consistently
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize therapy rooms, restrooms, common areas, break room, and offices throughout the day
- Perform daily deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces, toys, tables, mats, and therapy materials
- Respond promptly to spills, messes, and bodily-fluid cleanup using proper safety procedures
- Walk rooms regularly to remove hazards and items left behind so areas stay safe for children
- Restock all supplies in each room (soap, paper towels, gloves, wipes, sanitizer, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and other clinic supplies)
- Monitor supply levels and report low inventory to management
- Empty trash and diaper/sanitary bins as needed and take waste to outdoor receptacles
- Help organize storage areas, supply closets, and therapy materials
- Complete light outdoor maintenance, including weed-eating, blowing off the patio and walkways, and keeping entrances clean
- Store cleaning chemicals securely and out of children’s reach at all times
- Report maintenance or safety concerns (broken equipment, leaks, damaged furniture) to the Operations Supervisor
- Follow clinic policies on infection control, chemical safety, and client privacy
