About The Position

Facility Housekeepers help provide U-Haul’s exceptional service by keeping the facility clean and inviting. The role involves cleaning storage units and shared areas, disposing of trash, and tracking cleaning-supply inventory. The work environment may involve moderate risks or discomforts, including working around moving machinery, fumes, or irritant chemicals, and may require protective gear. The position requires physical activity, including standing for extended periods, moving around outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that, consistent with applicable state law, it will not hire or re-hire nicotine-product users in certain listed states, including Michigan.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas.
Dispose of trash.
Maintain and track cleaning-supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
