About The Position

PSC Group is hiring a Facility Custodian to maintain buildings and property in a clean, orderly, and functional condition. The role includes routine maintenance, heavy cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, and cleaning breakrooms and office lunchrooms. The custodian also manages cleaning-supply inventory, reports equipment repair or maintenance needs, completes required computer-based training, and may safely operate a golf cart or UTV to perform job duties.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional overtime. Regular on-site attendance and punctuality are required. The position may require a valid driver's license and/or TWIC card depending on work location, and candidates must pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams.
• Speak, write, and read fluent English.
• Maintain regular on-site attendance and punctuality.
• A valid driver's license and/or valid TWIC card may be required depending on work location.

• Previous military experience and a proven ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and property in a clean, orderly, and functional condition, including routine maintenance and heavy cleaning.
• Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning by shampooing or steam-cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and maintain overall facility cleanliness, including dusting furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Clean and maintain unit breakrooms and office lunchrooms.
• Collect and remove trash from offices and buildings and dispose of it in designated dumpsters.
• Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to established procedures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Manage cleaning-supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Notify management of equipment repairs or maintenance needs.
• Complete required PSC and Dow monthly computer-based training.
• Safely operate a golf cart or UTV as needed to perform job duties.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.
