About The Position
Under limited supervision, the Facility Attendant performs custodial duties related to the care and cleaning of assigned facilities to ensure that their assigned facilities are in good operating condition. Facilities Performance Group is a privately held corporation based in Hernando, Mississippi. For more than a decade, we have been delivering excellence in facilities support services to clients in a wide range of industries, including aviation, utilities, education, logistics, and manufacturing.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years old
- have a valid Driver License
- will also be required to pass a background check and submit to drug and alcohol screening.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in janitorial is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Daily janitorial duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.
- Responsible for removing trash and recyclable material.
- Conducts Building rounds and reporting any maintenance issues of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
- Follows health/safety rules and precautions.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned such as delivering mail and escorting vendors.
