About The Position

The Facility Associate performs housekeeping and cleaning across a manufacturing and distribution facility, maintaining cleanliness and quality standards through deep cleaning production lines, machines, and equipment. The role also assists the preventive maintenance crew, backs up production and other team members, and handles material movement and related paperwork. The position is 100% onsite at the Lippman Campus in the United States, with travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as needed. The scheduled shift is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and overtime is frequently required. The position is non-exempt and offers a starting rate of $18.00 per hour. It is eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments, with details provided during interviews.

Requirements

At least one year of experience in industrial, commercial, or janitorial cleaning.
Experience operating industrial equipment and prior motor experience.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Able to operate a tow motor or willing to be trained.
Experience cleaning industrial equipment; experience or knowledge of Lockout Tagout procedures. Proficiency may also be obtained through on-the-job training.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Operate a tow motor to remove and collect refuse from the facility.
Clean manufacturing areas using industrial cleaning equipment, including floors, catwalks, floor drains, pipes, tanks, and other equipment.
Assist the production-line preventive maintenance crew and deep-clean equipment daily, following required Lockout Tagout training.
Operate equipment such as floor scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, steam cleaners, pallet jacks, and compacting and disposal equipment.
Paint facility and office areas according to corporate guidelines and work instructions, handling and disposing of chemicals and solvents safely.
Support production service and packaging by performing tasks such as sleeving, shrink-wrapping, packing, nozzling, labeling, and stenciling.
Perform special sanitization of the facility and equipment when quality issues are identified, coordinating with the Cleaning & Sanitization and Mix departments.
Troubleshoot housekeeping and safety problems and advise appropriate personnel.
Label and deliver scrap totes and drums to designated areas to support regulatory compliance.
Move stacked cardboard pallets to a pallet wrapper and load them onto a trailer.
Gather cleaning supplies and other necessary components.
Back up other team members and perform general housekeeping duties routed through this position.
Move components, products, materials, furniture, and incoming or outgoing items between workstations and departments throughout the facility.
Complete cleaning logs, powered industrial transportation equipment checklists, and other paperwork promptly and according to procedure.
Assist with employee orientation, onboarding, and training.
Follow established safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, and operate powered industrial transportation equipment according to procedures and training.
