About The Position

Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is seeking a motivated, forward-thinking, and dedicated individual to join their team as a Facility Assistant II in Kerwood, Ontario. Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in a general labour job, preferably in agricultural and/or farming
• Class G driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.)
• Ability to work within environment subject to dust and allergens
• Ability to work at heights
• Flexible work schedule

Responsibilities

• Carrying out duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain
• Overall execution of processes involved in the operation of the facility
• Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments
• Collecting, testing, and recording grain samples
• Exercising competency in grading commodities
• Operating machinery with confidence and precision
• Performing basic mathematical calculations to accurately blend fertilizer
• Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping
• Commitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment
• Performing exceptional customer service duties
• Other duties as required
