Conducts sampling and analysis of various water facility systems like Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Liquid Industrial Waste systems (LIWS). Helps operate, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial water, waste, and chemical related issues that can impact water quality across any water systems like reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange, ultrafiltration, Ultraviolet light sterilization, waste-water, heat exchangers, and industrial waste systems. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provides practical and day-to-day interpretation of analytical instruments to determine quality and health of water such as ion chromatography, particles size and count, etc. Helps in working and coordinating with third party analytical laboratories to sample, ship and obtain results of collected samples. Assists in preparing technical reports to present to a wide array of audience, both technical and non-technical about the initiatives and performance of the water treatment division. Supports in implementing novel analysis and new methods to improve result accuracy, turnaround times, and cost, and writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) relating to sampling and analysis. Note: This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. Shift hours: Employees working Shift 7, start at 5:45am and end at 6:15pm Alternating Work Weeks: Alternating 3-Day Work Week ( Thurs, Fri, Sat) and 4-Day Work Week (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat).

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of combined experience in Ultra-Pure Water or Liquid Industrial Waste Systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Ultra-Pure Water troubleshooting involving pumps, ion exchange resin, ultrafiltration, ultraviolet light sterilization, and reverse osmosis arrays.
  • Familiarity with a Factory Management System user interface like Cimplicity.
