About The Position

Located at the Greentree Landfill in our Centralized Wastewater Treatment Facility, this position is responsible for helping to operate and maintain the facility, which is a biological and chemical treatment facility. The individual fulfilling this role must be flexible to work alone or with coworkers and be willing to learn and complete several tasks. Training will be provided in operations, maintenance, and basic laboratory work. This position is for a 24/7 operation and requires flexibility for day or night shifts, working 4 to 5 days per week, 8 to 10 hours per shift.

Requirements

• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with coworkers or alone to complete task
• Willing to work 40 to 50 hours per week

Nice To Haves

• Maintenance background is a plus
• Liquid waste treatment, preventive maintenance or a mechanical background a plus
• Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Acts in a professional, courteous and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers
• Works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner

Responsibilities

• Daily operations, general maintenance, operations of solids removal equipment and some general labor tasks around facility
• Dump and clean plate and form press, belt press
• Work with other plant operators and mechanics to operate and maintain facility
• May include some tasks associated with working with customers and tracking materials
• Mix and track materials and chemicals needed to operate facility
• Follow and enforce all required Noble safety policies and procedures
