About The Position

Micron Technology is seeking a Facilities Water Services Maintenance Planner/Scheduler Coordinator to plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance for critical water treatment systems and production support equipment. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, vendors, contractors, and leadership to ensure maintenance activities are prepared, safely executed, documented, and aligned with production needs. Success requires strong organization, disciplined planning, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to balance schedules, resources, spare parts readiness, equipment reliability, and production constraints. Ideal candidates are proficient with SAP or other CMMS tools, Microsoft Office, dashboards, and digital planning systems to improve maintenance readiness, schedule coordination, documentation quality, and operational reliability while demonstrating Micron’s core values of People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with relevant facilities, water treatment, wastewater, industrial maintenance, operations, military, or technical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, utilities, water treatment, semiconductor operations, or a comparable industrial maintenance environment.
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) programs, with SAP experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree, certification, military training, or equivalent experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, facilities, utilities, engineering, reliability, or industrial operations.
  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment, facilities, utilities, industrial manufacturing, production support, or equipment maintenance.
  • Experience in a supervisory, lead, coordinating, or scheduling role in semiconductor manufacturing or a comparable industrial environment.
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize maintenance schedules for Water Services systems and related equipment to support production and reduce avoidable downtime.
  • Support backlog review, job preparation, resource coordination, schedule development, execution follow-up, and work order closeout.
  • Use SAP, CMMS platforms, dashboards, Microsoft Office, and digital tools to create, prioritize, track, document, and close maintenance work orders.
  • Prepare work packages confirming labor, tools, materials, spare parts, permits, procedures, and documentation are ready for safe field execution.
  • Analyze work order history, equipment performance, backlog status, schedule consistency and alignment, resources, and production constraints to close planning gaps and improve uptime.
  • Coordinate labor, spare parts, materials, tools, vendors, contractors, permits, documentation, production windows, and customer priorities to support efficient execution.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, material risks, production impacts, downtime concerns, status updates, and metrics through meetings, reports, CMMS records, and planning tools.
  • Drive improvements in safety, reliability, material readiness, spare parts coordination, documentation accuracy, schedule adherence, downtime reduction, and workflow efficiency.
