Facilities Technician - 3rd Shift
About The Position
nVent is hiring a Facilities Technician to support its operations on 3rd shift, Monday through Friday from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. The role performs facility maintenance work, including industrial plumbing, light construction, general labor, painting, and support for remodel projects. The technician also maintains inert gas systems and assists the maintenance team with equipment breakdowns and projects as needed. The position is in an organization that designs, manufactures, markets, installs, and services electrical connection and protection solutions. The posting lists a competitive pay range based on experience of $23.91–$44.42 per hour plus a shift differential. A separate compensation section lists a range of $14.80–$27.50 per hour, depending on the position offered and work location.
Requirements
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge or personal or professional experience in one or more of the following: plumbing, light commercial HVAC, light commercial compressed air systems, or inert gas system maintenance.
- Ability to obtain a special boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months.
- Computer skills to navigate websites, email, and other office programs.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
