About The Position

nVent is hiring a Facilities Technician to support its operations on third shift, Monday through Friday from 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM. The role performs a variety of facility maintenance duties, including industrial plumbing, light construction, general labor, painting, remodel support, inert gas system maintenance, and assisting the maintenance team with breakdowns and projects.

The posting lists a competitive pay range of $23.91–$44.42 per hour plus a shift differential. A separate compensation section lists a range of $14.80–$27.50 per hour; pay is based on factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, performance, and work location.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge or personal or professional experience in one or more of the following: plumbing, light commercial HVAC, light commercial compressed air systems, or inert gas system maintenance.
• Ability to obtain a special boilers license and 608 reclaim certification within 9 months.
• Computer skills to navigate websites, email, and other office programs.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
