About The Position

The Facilities Technician supports Orangetheory Fitness locations across Tennessee by inspecting, maintaining, and repairing facilities and equipment. The role visits company-owned locations on a regular schedule to assess repairs, safety, and cleanliness in interior and exterior areas. The technician works with the facilities director, approved vendors, corporate staff, and platforms to coordinate timely repairs and keep studios operating at an optimal level. The role requires adaptability as studio needs change and may include after-hours work.

Requirements

Experience with patching and painting.
Plumbing skills.
Minor electrical skills.
Mechanical skills.
General construction experience.
Experience leading and coaching a team of four or more people.
Computer skills.
Experience maintaining and repairing fitness equipment.
Confidence troubleshooting technology.

Responsibilities

Visit all company-owned locations on a regular schedule to assess repairs, safety, and cleanliness in interior and exterior areas.
Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of equipment in all facilities.
Respond to emergency calls and perform emergency repairs on equipment.
Coordinate with vendors and corporate staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained and repaired within a reasonable timeline.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance with approved vendors when needed.
Manage facilities budgets and work within them.
Respond to emails and other communications in a timely manner.
Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions and inspect for possible issues.
Familiarize yourself with and follow warranty specifications.
Work alongside the facilities director to keep all studios operating at an optimal level.
Work with platforms to ensure repairs and responses are organized and timely.
Adapt to changing studio needs in a fast-moving industry.
