As our Facilities Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for electrical installation of electrical circuits, troubleshooting electrical equipment and controls throughout the plant. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent or electrical construction trade school.
  • Experience in construction and electrical installation.
  • Experience in electrical circuits, installing EMT, and rigid conduits.
  • Experience trouble shooting electrical equipment and controls 120/208, 277/480 volt systems.
  • Knowledge of Arc Flash safety requirements.
  • Knowledge of PPE
  • Experience troubleshooting low voltage systems and controls
  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, and VFDs
  • Strong knowledge in electrical codes and electrical circuits.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in a clean room and class B confined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting power issues, supervising expansion and alteration work.
  • Modifying existing equipment and systems for the purpose of improving efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitoring switchgear performance, overseeing and testing of IT infrastructure.
  • Managing lighting protection systems and ensuring the general lighting and power network of the plant is functioning properly.
