About The Position

The Facilities Technician II performs general maintenance and repair work and helps maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. Work may include painting, flooring repair, and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, network, phone, heating, and air-conditioning systems. The position also supports property upkeep, service requests, inspections, equipment installation, and routine pest control while following environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

Three years of facilities experience.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Basic working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing.
Self-directed, well organized, and motivated.
High attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Computer proficiency, including Excel and Word.
Able to perform the physical demands of the job, including occasionally lifting or moving up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and upgrade the physical condition of properties.
Prioritize and complete service requests in a timely manner.
Perform regular property inspections.
Interact with a wide range of people in a personable and trustworthy manner.
Service appliances, equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Install shop air drops, electrical drops, and network drops.
Perform routine pest control maintenance.
Perform any required tasks, including janitorial work and gardening.
Comply with applicable environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations, company policy, and accepted safe work practices.
