About The Position

PTI Technologies Inc. is a world leader in highly-reliable filtration and fluid control equipment and subsystems and miniature CAD/PAD devices, providing innovative, value-added solutions for a full range of mission, flight and life-critical operations across the Aerospace and Defense markets. The Facilities Technician II keeps our Oxnard site running safely and reliably by maintaining building systems and supporting manufacturing equipment uptime. This role involves completing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and helping coordinate small facility upgrades while providing guidance to Facilities Technician I when needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • 2–5 years facility maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical
  • Ability to read basic prints/layouts
  • Basic computer skills for work orders/PM tracking
  • Safe tool use
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Strong safety/compliance focus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to stay organized
  • Ability to deliver consistent results

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to facility systems and manufacturing equipment.
  • Coordinate small facility upgrades.
  • Provide guidance to Facilities Technician I.
  • Perform facility repairs including drywall/paint, minor carpentry, and doors/windows.
  • Conduct plumbing and basic electrical work.
  • Perform safety checks on fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, emergency lights, and sprinklers.
  • Maintain floor markings and signage.
  • Respond to internal service requests.
  • Support the manufacturing floor through PMs, epoxy dispensing equipment upkeep, and oven cleaning.
  • Order parts and materials.
  • Manage compliant hazardous waste consolidation and shipment preparation.
  • Review open work orders and PM schedules.
  • Prioritize tasks to ensure facility and production stability.
  • Coordinate with production, safety, and engineering teams.
  • Stage parts and materials.
  • Update trackers and close out work in the system.
  • Ensure safety stations and emergency equipment are operational.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
