About The Position

DrinkPAK is seeking a highly motivated Facilities Technician II who under general supervision will provide general facilities maintenance and external upkeep of buildings and surrounding areas of DrinkPAK-leased properties. We are looking for a dependable and skilled Facilities Technician II to support the maintenance and functionality of our diverse manufacturing campus, which includes office areas, industrial production lines, and warehouse facilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in facility systems maintenance across multiple building types and adaptable to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or Graduate Equivalentcy Diploma required
  • Four or more years building maintenance experience required.
  • Good communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and lighting systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and interpret meters, schematics, owners manuals, program some building management sytems and assess fire panels required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiently and safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations/procedures.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft office products required.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to effectively manage time.

  • Works with Electromechanical Technicians as required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and performs facilities work order requests.
  • Use Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards for all maintenance activities.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and dock door issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct general maintenance tasks, such as carpentry, painting, welding, electrical conduit, plumbing and drywall repair.
  • Perform tasks associated with air filters, valves, ballasts, lighting and electrical components required at scheduled maintenance and/or repair.
  • Maintain exterior grounds including lighting, walkways, parking lots, and loading docks.
  • Repair and maintain all doors, fixtures, hardware, ceiling tile, and related items.
  • Perform tasks, project and assignments as assigned by the work order application system and update real time.
  • Coordinate with production teams to perform maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Responds to all trouble calls and emergency calls regarding heating, air conditioning, light replacement, minor repairs, electrical, plumbing, and related items.
  • Cleans and maintains all facilities related spaces and storerooms.
  • Responsible for all operating logs and records on all machinery and equipment to accurately reflect maintenance, repairs and history.
  • Maintains accurate check lists for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly annual tests and inspections of equipment.
  • Maintains the security and proper operation of all keys, tools and portable equipment.
  • Generates supply requests to maintain an adequate stock of supplies and repair parts; as approved by the Facilities Manager.
  • Installs workstations, desks office and adjusts as needed.
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Perform a weekly visual and operational inspection of all fire sprinkler systems risers and Post Indicator Valve (PIV) assemblies throughout the facility.
  • Work productively and harmoniously with others on a consistent basis.
  • Respond positively to direction and critique of performance.
  • Consistently maintain professional and appropriate demeanor.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
  • Works with Electromechanical Technicians as required.
