This position is responsible for maintaining commercial food and beverage refrigeration equipment, performing routine repairs, and maintenance activities. The role involves promoting superior guest service and maintaining a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. The technician will also be involved in general plumbing, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in various food service and refrigeration equipment, installing and relocating equipment, and repairing/replacing controls and electrical wiring. Fabrication, assembly, and installation of electrical wiring, controls, and piping are also key responsibilities. The role requires maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, replacing HVAC and smoke eater filters, and reporting any needed repairs or observed concerns to management. Accurate record-keeping of materials and labor, detecting needed repairs, and reporting unsafe conditions are essential. The technician will ensure proper information flow within departments, compliance with codes and regulations, and active participation in updating maintenance programs and energy management efforts. Maintaining awareness of safety and accident prevention, and ensuring team members are trained in safety policies are also crucial. Confidentiality of sensitive information is required, along with performing other assigned duties.
