About The Position

The Facilities Technician I is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on building infrastructure, including drywall repair, plumbing, painting, and office remodeling, replacing light bulbs and other facilities duties. This role ensures the smooth operation and safety of our facilities by assisting in the development and implementation of facility management plans and strategies, supporting facility maintenance, coordinating service requests, and assisting in space planning activities. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. You will assist in the development and implementation of facility management plans and strategies while supporting facility maintenance activities and coordinating service requests. Additionally, you will assist in space planning activities to ensure optimal use of facility space and conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and address issues. You will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service requests, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Collaborating with other team members and departments, you will help ensure efficient facility operations and respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner. Furthermore, you will assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment and provide support during office moves, including new hire setups and building relocations.

Requirements

  • Typically entry-level 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Experience in facility management or building operations.

  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
