About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Support Technician for a client in the pharmaceutical industry. This role combines traditional facilities maintenance with critical cleanroom operations and material transfer responsibilities. You will play an essential part in maintaining the facility by keeping walls in pristine repair, performing light plumbing, moving furniture, escorting vendors, and managing cleanroom protocols. Reporting to the Sr. Facilities Manager, you will handle day-to-day requests while upholding the highest standards of security, safety, and compliance in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Demonstrated skill in professional-grade wall patching, painting, and basic plumbing/mechanical repairs.
  • Proven ability to strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), especially within a regulated or quality-controlled environment.
  • Experience with facilities work order or ticketing systems (e.g., SAP, ServiceNow, Corrigo, Archibus).
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting up to 50 lbs., overhead work, bending, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, contamination control, or working in regulated pharmaceutical environments.
  • Experience with inventory management and stocking consumables in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Experience supporting environmental monitoring activities (e.g., sampling, logging).
  • Prior experience with vendor management and escorting in a secure facility.
  • Familiarity with performing task-level risk assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to daily facility requests and work orders for repairs, maintenance, and small works projects.
  • Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including professional-grade wall patching and painting, basic plumbing repairs, and minor carpentry.
  • Execute critical cleanroom and laboratory support functions, such as material transfer protocols, consumables stocking, and equipment moves.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, including emergency showers and eyewashes, and escort vendors to ensure compliance with site protocols.
  • Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contamination control measures, and all health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with space reconfigurations, furniture moves, and general upkeep to ensure the facility remains in optimal condition.
  • Support the broader facilities team and management with various assigned tasks and projects.
