About The Position

The working lead for the skilled labor support team. This role leads the cleaning, maintenance and general repair schedule, communication of supply needs, and directs other Support Technicians when needed. They are responsible for the overall aesthetic standard functions of the facility's interior and exterior execution plan.

Requirements

5+ years in commercial or facility services, with team leadership experience.
High School Diploma/GED required.
Expert knowledge of general commercial building construction, floor care, commercial chemicals, stripping/blasting techniques, and Material handling equipment.
Ability to take feedback from office staff regarding cleanliness and adjust schedules accordingly.

Responsibilities

Schedule and execution of daily zones, tasks and other support needs for Maintenance and Facilities Technicians and campus work orders
Conduct "white glove" inspections Grounds and Facilities. Examples – exterior building envelope, grounds, hard surfaces, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices to ensure cleaning standards and PM’s are in line.
Coordinate with Maintenance Lead and Facilities Lead to provide labor support for large projects on and off normal schedules.
Communicate needs on inventory of cleaning chemicals, consumable parts and or products and additional role-related interactions; submit orders to the Coordinator to ensure no out of stock situations and maintain efficiency.
Ensure floor scrubbers, vacuums, and buffers, etc. are operational and scheduled for repair if needed.
Schedule and execute deep cleaning events (stripping/recoating floors, carpet tile replacement and high dusting/cleaning of ducting, piping and vertical building surfaces).
Obtain and maintain certifications and PPE testing for related tasks such as but not limited to Respirators, Forklifts, Telehandlers, and Various types of Man lifts to ensure that safety equipment and PPE are used correctly.
