About The Position

The facilities team is looking to hire a Facilities Support Responsible for transporting personnel on scheduled shuttle routes, managing office moves and furniture setups, handling secure shred disposal, and supporting general facilities operations. Provides professional customer service, supports site operational needs, and maintains safe, efficient workplace operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Professional customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet all site access, background check, and safety training requirements.
  • Ability to work during normal business hours and occasional after-hours support if needed.
  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Transport schedules-based PRN / Programs
  • Arrive at collection points prior to departure times.
  • Confirm that all passengers are present per presenter.
  • Ensure adherence to passenger limits, both seated and standing.
  • Check that passengers disembark at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable.
  • Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws per L3 Harris guidelines.
  • Relocate office furniture, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and workstations
  • Move employee personal workspace items and department equipment
  • Setup and breakdown of cubicles, office furniture, and modular systems as required
  • Perform internal department relocations and workspace reassignments
  • Adjust conference room and common area furniture
  • Coordinate with Facilities and department managers for scheduling and completion
  • Empty full shred barrels containing proprietary, confidential, and sensitive documents
  • Replace full shred barrels with empty, secure shred containers
  • Transport full shred barrels to designated secure collection points
  • Maintain chain of custody and confidentiality standards during handling
  • Ensure all shred disposal activities comply with company security and document retention policies
  • Support special project moves and event setup/breakdown
  • Organize storage rooms and relocate assets
  • Move and stage surplus furniture
  • Respond to facilities-related operational requests assigned
  • Respond to standard move requests within agreed service-level expectations
  • Coordinate scheduling to minimize business disruption
  • Follow all site safety, security, and access protocols
  • Use proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injury or damage
  • Maintain professionalism while working in occupied office environments
  • Immediately report damages, safety concerns, or service interruptions
  • Handle confidential document disposal with strict compliance to security procedures
  • Observe all company's Environmental, Safety and Industrial hygiene policies and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe working condition through the proper use of safety equipment and observation of all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate understanding of OSHA requirements.
  • Provide professional customer service while representing the facilities organization.
  • Support additional site operational needs as assigned.
  • Perform routine services hanging whiteboards, set-ups, TVs, and banners.
  • Supply extra supplies based on need.
  • Provide additional cleaning as needed basis.
