About The Position

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven Facilities Supervisor with strong communication skills and a strong work ethic for a challenging, fast-paced environment. The role supports local facility operations and emergencies, prioritizes daily work for Facilities Technicians, supervises projects, advises the manager about expenditures, and provides direct supervision to professional contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees. The position typically supervises two or more direct reports and includes basic to moderately complex equipment repairs, including electrical repairs.

Requirements

A minimum of 2–4 years of related experience.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Forklift certification.
Ability to use powered tools safely.
Working knowledge of basic construction tools.
Demonstrated good safety practices.
Ability to manage vendors.
Working knowledge of general facilities.
Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action.
Communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support local facilities emergency needs, including 24/7 emergency support.
Prioritize the daily work of Facilities Technicians.
Supervise local projects as needed.
Advise the manager of expenditures.
Interact daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups.
Provide direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled or semi-skilled nonexempt employees.
Perform basic to moderately complex equipment repairs, including electrical repairs.
Use a computer for simple functions.
