About The Position

The Facilities Supervisor will assist with overseeing the maintenance of Plymouth Harbor’s infrastructure. This includes the repair of all building functions, grounds, equipment, and appliances. The role involves daily supervision of the Maintenance Department staff, outside contractors, and vendors for all maintenance projects. Responsibilities include managing HVAC controls and overseeing the maintenance of cooling towers, chillers, emergency generators, fire alarm systems, and elevators. The supervisor will also review MEP permit plans, conduct quality assurance inspections, collaborate on budgets and maintenance plans, supervise maintenance staff, troubleshoot various systems, assist with routine repairs, conduct visual inspections, perform performance appraisals of Maintenance staff, and manage painting projects. Additional duties include preventive maintenance on appliances, purchasing supplies, conducting room audits, responding to emergencies, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant Engineering field, or foreign equivalent
  • Two years of experience working in a skilled nursing environment
  • Experience with HVAC systems
  • Experience operating Notifier Fire Alarm Systems
  • Experience operating Trane Tracer
  • Experience in general contracting
  • Experience in appliance repair
  • Experience in fire safety
  • Experience in flood mitigation
  • Trane Certificate in Fans in Air-Handling Systems
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Must complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
