About The Position

As the Facilities Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facilities, creating a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff. You will lead a team of technicians, overseeing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to guarantee the highest standards in facility functionality and appearance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or related field
  • Proven experience in leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and regulations
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex facility issues
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently lead a team
  • Must be able to multi-task with jobs, radio and guest interactions
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions
  • Possess strong working knowledge of heating, cooling, and pumping systems
  • Possess strong plumbing knowledge
  • Must be very well versed in electrical applications and safety
  • Should have a working knowledge of appliances
  • General maintenance experience with general paint and carpentry

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and lead facilities technicians
  • Coordinate work schedules, assignments, and training
  • Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance needs
  • Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and system repairs
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Plan and execute facility improvement projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project completion
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols
  • Conduct regular safety audits and address issues
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts
  • Assist in developing and managing the facilities budget
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities
  • All other duties as assigned
