Requirements

  • Associate degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field OR several years of experience in a directly related technical role, such as facilities maintenance or engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing, including the creation of manual, user guides or technical documentation.
  • Experience working with sketches, technical drawings, and blueprints.
  • Ability to travel –10%
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend/kneel/crouch, and lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering field
  • 5+ years of experience in a skilled trades or facilities maintenance field, with at least 2 years of experience working with HVAC and mechanical systems and demonstrated ability to install, maintain and calibrate Rees System sensors, and perform advanced troubleshooting and programming
  • Proficient in SAP application for placing purchase requisitions, inventory/requisition lookup

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair laboratory and mechanical equipment
  • Assist in developing SOP’s, IQOQ’s, calibration templates and work instructions for new and existing equipment
  • Provide leadership in multiple areas of expertise.
  • Assists in developing ideas/making recommendations to management on improving/streamlining existing processes
