About The Position

Chenega Integrated Security Solutions is looking for entry level Facilities Specialists to support a government customer in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of related experience.
  • Minimum of one year of completion towards associate degree.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, oversees, and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors, and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work.
  • Seeks concurrence from senior facility operations specialists to ensure services rendered are within the O&M policy.
  • Ensures responsible work order submissions have been processed and all work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Checks work orders monthly to verify metrics meet O&M parameters.
  • Becomes proficient utilizing the facility integration tool for submitting service requests.
  • Obtains monthly metrics from the program for executive reporting on service order completion rates.
  • Conducts facility inspections, including quality assurance on preventive maintenance inspections, and reports.
  • Reports any anomalies to the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialists.
  • Coordinates and manages moves, additions, and change activities.
  • Works closely with Space Management to ensure employees have designated seating.
  • Works with senior facility operations specialists to understand the process of Space Management.
  • Obtains proposals from vendors for the procurement of parts, service, and labor for projects.
  • Ensures invoices are accurate and paid on time once services are completed.
  • Works with senior facility operations specialists to understand the process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
