Requirements

  • Understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Proficiency using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment like multimeters.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, building codes, and safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and MS Office.
  • Developed analytical skills and application of scientific methods.
  • Good understanding of how the team integrates with others.
  • Recognizes and solves typical problems that can occur in own work area without supervisory approval; evaluates and selects solutions from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
  • Uses communication skills to exchange of information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair building systems.
  • Perform HVAC maintenance.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting.
  • Perform plumbing repair.
  • Proficiency with hand/power tools.
  • Ensure occupant comfort through HVAC systems.
  • Repair motors, pumps, and machinery.
  • Replace switches and outlets.
  • Diagnose electrical issues.
  • Read electrical schematics.
  • Repair leaks.
  • Unclog drains.
  • Maintain plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform drywall repair.
  • Perform painting.
  • Perform carpentry.
  • Perform building hardware repairs.
  • Track work orders using CMMS and MS Office.
  • Diagnose issues and implement solutions, often in emergency situations.
  • Prioritize multiple repair requests efficiently.
  • Interact professionally with building occupants and tenants.
  • Handle varied tasks.
  • Work on-call for emergencies.
